**Job Description**:
**Main Duties**:
**Responsibilities include**: Consulting with senior management, stakeholders and external learning providers to assess and identify organizational learning opportunities and gaps. Leading the establishment of frameworks and standards for researching, designing and developing learning programs. Providing effective management of Learning & Development staff, promoting good relationships and ensuring they have the knowledge and tools they need to succeed. Overseeing and monitoring the quality of learning content and delivery, from all external learning providers, and at all sites. Gathering organizational learning data, assessing effectiveness of learning programs and preparing corporate reports on effectiveness, participation, feedback, and return on learning investment. Participating in other projects and activities as required, in support of Learning & Development priorities.

SIGA adheres to all occupational health and safety regulations and makes every effort to limit the adverse effects of these elements.
- Compliance with all regulatory requirements as may be applicable to your position including but not limited to both SLGA requirements and the Anti-Money Laundering requirements set out in the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act and regulations and policies made thereunder by Canada and FINTRAC.

**Job Requirements**: Education**:

- Successful completion of a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Education or other related discipline. Several years of directly related experience and training may be considered.

**Experience**:

- 5-7 years previous related job experience.
- Experience in facilitating and delivery learning programs.
- Experience in the design, development and implementation of training programs.
- Experience in conducting needs assessments.
- Experience in designing instruments to assess and determine return on training investments.
- Experience in evaluating internal/external learning programs and facilitators.
- Experience with leadership development and training will be an asset.
