At the City of Toronto, we are embarking on several transformational changes, across various divisions. These key initiatives include workplace modernization, total rewards reviews, financial systems transformations, along with general change management strategy.

As the
**Manager, Business Transformation & Change Management**, you will provide day-to-day leadership and collaboration on key project deliverables, change management strategies, and business operations.

Reporting to the Director, People Experience, you will provide business transformation and key stakeholder engagement, while ensuring program alignment with the overall program direction and schedule, as well as City policies.

You will optimize skills required to deliver industry best practices that support strategic decision-making across the City. Passionate about continuous learning and innovation, you will help to develop and implement a change strategy with broad reaching impacts on City employees.

You will work with a range of stakeholders to understand their business and people needs to ensure that the strategy and plan can address their pain points and set a foundation for transformative change. With a strong understanding of Human Resources and a knack for research, you understand the impact of policy and process change on employees and are skilled in measuring that impact. You emphasize best practice and advocate for the importance of employee engagement in change management.

You will provide a high level of customer service to operating units, supporting program management staff with processes and tools needed to deliver services effectively and efficiently. You will establish training and awareness programs on business transformation initiatives affecting service delivery, business processes and policy changes for internal and external stakeholders.

We will also value your input on development and implementation of functional policies and programs, as the organization transforms. As you are moving the projects along, your ability to ensure quality assurance and consistency across the Division, and continuous improvement of service delivery will be crucial in the role.

**Key Qualifications**
- Extensive experience working within a Human Resources function or division; HR Designations considered an asset.
- Considerable experience in project management, with an expertise in change management initiatives.
- Extensive experience managing/guiding large-scale transformation projects, using project management tools and methodologies.
- Considerable experience managing, motivating, and developing diverse teams.
- Post-Secondary education in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Human Resources, or an equivalent combination of education and experience leading business transformations.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage positive relationships with stakeholders, senior leadership, and peers.
- Collaborative approach in solving problems and addressing project issues.
- Experience in Systems Implementation and Process Reengineering is an asset.
