**Major Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Program Manager, EWMS Asset Management, PF&R, this position leads Business Transformation activities related to the support of divisional initiatives. Projects will focus on preparing for the transition to IMB Maximo and could range from data collection and validation projects, reviews of internal systems, transition coordination and more.

Activities would include developing and executing project deliverables, consultation and negotiations with stakeholders, and the coordinating the development of training plans and materials.

The Project Manager Business Transformation will be responsible for and excel at:
**Project Management**
- Plans and leads implementation of complex organizational and operational projects, develops and manages project plans and makes recommendations on policies regarding program specific requirements.
- Provides project management support and leadership within the branch as a member of a self-directed work team.
- Develops, prepares and negotiates agreements with suppliers, contractors, other divisions, partner organizations, and user groups.
- Facilitates contract management for various services and products including but not limited to RFQ/RFP, valuations of bids, recommendation of vendor, contract monitoring, contract renewals, and communication with vendor.
- Develops, recommends and administers assigned budget for the project(s), utilizing information on operational requirements, staffing requirements, known pressures and required adjustments; ensures appropriate action is taken to control expenditures within approved budget limitations by analyzing project financial data.
- Work from various Parks, Forestry and Recreation (PFR) facilities for the purpose of supervising a project, collecting information, running consultation, engaging with stakeholders or completing other tasks as required to deliver a variety of different projects.
- Work with PFR teams and other stakeholders on the development of user experience platforms, websites, or other relevant platforms as necessary.
- Supporting or leading projects that focus on the integration of various technology solutions

**Customer Focus and Strategic Orientation**
- Participates in on-going strategic planning and development of divisional and city-wide service direction, functional standards, policies and procedures, in consultation with other City divisions, government agencies and community stakeholders.
- Reviews, evaluates and makes strategic recommendations related to scheduling of Parks, Forestry and Recreation projects and operations for optimal service delivery.
- Design, develop and implement resources and tools that support PFR Business Transformation Projects.
- Cultivates effective working relations, with internal and external stakeholders including those from other divisions of the City.
- Investigates internal/external complaints, where required, and implementing actions for satisfactory resolutions. Ensures quality customer service by providing timely, cost effective and optimum delivery of services.
- Ability to travel to various locations as required within the City of Toronto

**Business Process Improvement**
- Develops, reviews and implements detailed plans, implements resources and tools, and recommends policies/procedures and guidelines regarding program specific requirements and projects to ensure compliance with Council, corporate and divisional directives. Assesses current practices and make recommendations to improve operational efficiencies.
- Develops and implements service standards and effective operational plans, and works collaboratively with partner branches within the Parks, Forestry and Recreation Division and other divisions, to ensure the delivery of quality service to efficiently and effectively meet customer service needs and requirements and achieve division's mission and goals.
- Identifies and carries out optimization of business processes, with a focus on data management processes, to improve data management practices

**Leadership**
- Leads, motivates and trains assigned staff, ensuring effective teamwork, high standards of work quality and organizational performance, continuous learning and encourages innovation in others. Manages the day to day activities of staff including the scheduling, assigning and reviewing of work. Authorizes and coordinates vacation and overtime requests.
