_**Title**:_Receptionist
- **Organizational Relationship**_: Reports to manager
- **Hours of Work**_: 35_ hours per week (Mondays to Fridays, during regular business hours).
- **Position**:_Full-time permanent_

Highly organized, detail-oriented receptionist required to support head receptionist at a busy outpatient clinic located within Toronto General Hospital. We are a large centre, seeing approximately 5,000 patients and conducting approximately 15,000 tests per year.
- Receptionist responsibilities include, but are not limited to:_
- Patient Intake, confirm patient information, direct them to correct location
- Answer phones, take messages, return calls
- Prepare patient charts
- Schedule patients for testing, contact patients with appointments
- Fax, photocopy, file patient chart information
- Receive goods ordered
- Prioritize workload
- General Responsibilities:_
- Maintain an amicable, discreet and co-operative relationship with patients as well as with departmental staff and the staff of all other departments and units, regardless of position
- Support head receptionist according to current priorities

The ideal applicant must have previous experience working as a receptionist, must have worked in a medical setting, and must have experience interfacing with patients. He/she will also have experience in a fast-paced work environment.

Preference will be given to applicants who have experience in medical reception.

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON M5G 2C4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
