**About the Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Director, Quality Improvement & Safety, Central Zone, the QIS Operations Consultant, has a responsibility for supporting the overall coordination of the planning, development and implementation of the activities with focus on supporting and leading activities that advance and deliver on the provincial NS Health Quality Improvement and Culture strategy.

**About You**:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

- Required: Baccalaureate degree from a health discipline/health science field/business
- Preferred: Masters Degree in Health Services Administration, Quality Improvement and Safety or Business Administration
- Minimum of 3-5 years working experience and responsibilities in a senior coordinator position or equivalent
- Extremely strong interpersonal skill, ease of collaborating with people of diverse knowledge and skillset and a focus on action and identifying paths to success
- Extremely comfortable managing in context of innovation, and testing concept that are not yet widely known or adopted
- Experience in planning, coordinating, delivery and evaluation of QI initiatives
- Experience within a health related environment preferred (administrative / clinical)
- Experience in program and service development, implementation and evaluation required
- Knowledge of QI and Safety methodologies and best practice
- Proven ability to work with a variety of stakeholder groups
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills’
- Travel will be required
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

**Compensation and Incentives**:
$36.33 - $45.42 Hourly
