Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook a variety of Italian-inspired dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure the quality, taste, and presentation of all food items
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary ingredients and cooking equipment
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate and expedite food orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage and labeling of ingredients
- Follow proper food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Adhere to portion control guidelines and minimize food waste
- Assist in menu planning and development of new dishes
- Support and collaborate with other kitchen staff members as needed

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role REQUIRED
- Solid understanding of Italian cuisine and cooking techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes
- Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
