Working within this value system the duties of the **Marketing & Communications Assistant (Contract)** will include but not be limited to the description that follows.

**Position Summary**:
Are you passionate about working in communications for a wonderful cause? Reporting to the Manager, Direct Response, this role involves web form development, crafting web content copy, and providing administrative support. Responsibilities include aligning web content with fundraising goals, creating donation websites, assisting in direct response initiatives, managing data, and supporting marketing efforts. The role requires strong communication and collaboration skills to achieve fundraising success.

**Specific responsibilities include, but may not be limited to**:

- Web Form Creation_
- Primary liaison with staff across The Foundation, specifically development and Business and Community Engagement staff to align fundraising and event web page content with fundraising goals.
- Through collaborative efforts, write compelling web content to increase fundraising engagement, event attendance and donations.
- Create AKA Raisin donation websites, Signature Event websites, annual campaigns, Peer-to-Peer fundraising websites, Conference registration websites, and online Surveys.
- Support the various teams in developing AKA Raisin or Team Raiser webpages and other web forms for a variety of fundraising events and campaigns.
- Monitor success of content, review metrics, and use insights to improve future strategies and content initiatives
- Maintain brand guidelines in all copy and design work on webpages.
- Consider UX in the development of the pages, based on their primary function
- Direct Response Program Support_
- Provide assistance to the Direct Response Program for annual giving, mail, and direct response initiatives including:

- Efficiently tracking and managing Raisers Edge updates, with an added emphasis on data gathering and building reports.
- Engaging with agency relationships and actively participating in meetings to contribute valuable assistance for annual mailings.
- Administrative Support_
- Provide marketing and communications support for various initiatives as required
- Support website design, copy and clean up
- Collaborate with team members to support the audits, reviews and improvements for Marketing and Communications templates and processes
- Propose and draft Marketing and Communication templates
- Draft agendas, collect and distribute meeting materials and record, write and distribute minutes of meetings as required
- Provide logístical (transportation, accommodation, meals, AV and registration) and administrative support for meetings and in hospital activities
- Coordinate special projects, as required.
