- Develop and executes sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through proactive prospecting and networking while leveraging industry contacts.
- Develop a robust sales pipeline, tracking and managing leads, opportunities, and customer interactions through our CRM system.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive strengths and weaknesses.
- Collaborate closely with marketing teams to align sales efforts with marketing campaigns, ensuring a cohesive approach to generating leads and closing deals.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Monitor sales progress, and provides regular reports and forecasts on sales performance to senior management.
- Negotiate and close complex sales deals, contracts, and partnerships, ensuring they are aligned with company objectives and profitability.
- Work with product development, operations, and customer support teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer success.
- Keep abreast of market conditions and competitor activities, adapting sales strategies accordingly to stay ahead of the competition.
- Implement and leverages sales technology tools, such as sales automation platforms and analytics software, to streamline processes and gain insights.
- Implement customer retention strategies, including customer satisfaction surveys, loyalty programs, and proactive account management.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build brand awareness and expand professional networks.
- Contribute to the development of sales budgets, resource allocation, and strategic planning, actively participating in the overall business growth strategy.
- Ensures compliance with company policies, sales guidelines, and ethical standards, fostering a culture of integrity and professionalism within the sales team.

**Summary of Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Positivity-infused business development style with the ability to persuade and negotiate well with others.
- 3-5 years of experience in Business Development/Sales.
- Digital Security and Low Voltage industry experience is considered an asset.
- University Degree/Diploma is considered an asset.
- Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment.
- The Sales Manager works closely with Grey Owl, Cap EV, Electrical, IT leaders and business peers.
- Must have excellent communication skills and be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Demonstrates an entrepreneurial spirit, networking skills, and is seeking to grow and expand the business.
- Demonstrates initiative, personal awareness, professionalism, integrity, professional appearance, and exercises confidentiality.
- Proficiency in using MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.).
