As the Marketing Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand's visual identity and expanding our market presence. You'll be based in our vibrant Langford location, the perfect backdrop for our flagship store, which boasts a team of over 100 dedicated staff members. **The Responsibilities**
- **Vendor Collaboration and Campaign Brilliance** - Collaborate with vendors to execute impactful marketing and product campaigns under the guidance of our Marketing Manager. Contribute fresh perspectives to the overall marketing strategy, actively seeking innovative methods to enhance brand recognition
- **Strategic Promotional Support** - Participate in the exploration of strategies to elevate brand visibility and engagement. Deepen your understanding of industry products and services, collaborating with sales and purchasing teams to uncover unique audience-reaching tactics
- **Event Coordination and Promotion Excellence** - Assist in planning and executing on-site marketing events, offering support for site activations and ensuring promotions reflect our strong brand identity
- **Additional Support and Administrative Agility** - Tackle diverse support and administrative tasks as needed to meet the dynamic demands of the role

**The Requirements**
- **Marketing and Design Expertise - **Background in marketing or graphic design, ideally complemented by practical marketing experience and an understanding of branding and digital design principles
- **Effective Communication - **Proficient writing for both print and online mediums, with impeccable English language skills for producing and editing high-quality, accurate copy
- **Other Strong Skills to be Considered**:

- Ability to thrive under tight deadlines, whether collaborating within a team or working independently
- Embrace a positive attitude and a proactive willingness to support diverse team needs
- Effectively communicate with staff, customers, and product vendors to drive projects and amplify the brand
- Familiarity with the building and construction industry is a plus

Our Langford Store is conveniently located on a major transit route just off of Sooke Road past the Luxton Fairgrounds. Langford’s growing population makes this city an ideal location for our flagship store, employing over 100 staff with endless opportunities to learn and grow. We proudly offer the largest selection of building materials on Vancouver Island. This branch offers an excellent selection of products including lumber, siding, concrete, drywall, insulation, power tools, paint, flooring, hardware and more. We also boast Vancouver Island’s largest fleet of building material delivery trucks.
