**What you can expect to do here**:

- Strong project coordination and client liason skills to assist in coordination of project work.
- Assist in preparing for field work (surveys, abatement, condition reinspections).
- Track issues, progress, inquiries and reporting related to the underground lines asbestos program.
- Develop templates and tools to facilitate tracking and reporting where necessary.
- Assist in the maintaining program records, including coordinating data updates in our client’s asset management databases as required.
- Periodically conduct hazardous materials field work and prepare reports.
- Conduct desk top hazardous materials gap analyses.
- Develop and report on performance metrics to the client Project Manager.
- Attend monthly project review meetings with the client Project Manager to review the program, issues identified and actions to improve the program.
- Perform desktop review on various types of business assets.
- Support the client project manager to conduct field survey pilot programs.
- Networking with internal and external clients to develop work opportunities.

**What you’ll bring to WSP**:

- Bachelor or Master of Science or Engineering in Environmental Health, Occupational Health and Safety, Occupational Hygiene, or related discipline
- 2+ years experience in Occupational Hygiene and/or Environmental Health and Safety field
- Professional Certification or working towards certification, such as a Professional Engineer (PE/P.Eng.), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), Registered Safety Professional (e.g., CRSP), Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) an asset.
- Experience with industrial facilities is an asset
- Experience in the Consulting industry is a definite asset
- Strong computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Enthusiasm and commitment to technical excellence
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skill
- Ability to adapt and work in a team environment
