Position Overview
As the Head Chef, you will be the culinary leader of the restaurant, responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations. You will play a key role in developing the menu, managing food preparation, and ensuring that each dish meets the highest standards of quality and presentation. In addition to leading the kitchen staff, you will be involved in inventory management, ordering supplies, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently during service.
This position offers a unique opportunity for culinary creativity and leadership, with the chance to shape the restaurant’s culinary direction and contribute to its success. You will be expected to maintain a positive, collaborative environment in the kitchen while ensuring that service runs smoothly.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Head Chef
- Minimum five years experience in a senior kitchen role
- A strong passion for food
- A confident leader with the ability to manage and inspire a team
- Creative and forward thinking approach to menu development
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitization practices
- Ability to work efficiently and calm under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire the kitchen team, serving both as a role model and a mentor
- Oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of all dishes, ensuring consistency and the highest standards of quality
- Maintain and preserve the integrity of our signature dishes
- Collaborate with General Manager and kitchen team to create new seasonal menu items that keep our offerings fresh and exciting
- Manage all kitchen operations including inventory, ordering, food costs, schedules, and maintenance
- Foster a positive work environment where excellence can continue to thrive
