**Motel Manager Job Description**

**Job Summary**
The Motel Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the motel, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction while maintaining efficient and profitable management of the property. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a keen understanding of hotel management practices. The Motel Manager will coordinate staff activities, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. This is a live on site position.

**Duties**
- Supervise front desk operations, including check-in and check-out processes.
- Manage guest services to ensure a pleasant stay for all patrons.
- Oversee budgeting and financial reporting to maintain profitability.
- Handle customer service inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Train and supervise staff in their respective roles to enhance performance.
- Implement marketing strategies to attract guests and increase occupancy rates.
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the motel facilities.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, health regulations, and safety standards.
- Develop schedules for staff to ensure adequate coverage at all times.

**Skills**
- Proficient in front desk operations and hotel management software.
- Strong budgeting skills to manage financial aspects effectively.
- Exceptional guest services skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Excellent customer service abilities, including phone etiquette.
- Knowledge of human resources practices for effective staff management.
- Ability to supervise and motivate a diverse team of employees.
- Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus for enhancing guest interactions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

This role is essential for creating a welcoming environment that encourages repeat business while fostering a positive workplace culture among staff.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $40,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
