**Job Requirements**:All Terra Opus Group staff members need to be prepared to attend our Mount Albert yard location at 630am Monday to Friday
**Responsibilities**:
- Weed gardens, prune shrubs and trees, spread soil/mulch, plant flowers, fall and spring clean-up and perform other maintenance duties as directed by foreman/supervisor/manager;
- Follow all health & safety regulations including wearing appropriate protective equipment and following Safety Data Sheets (formerly MSDS) for safe handling of fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides and other dangerous chemicals;
- Clean working areas and maintain tools and equipment.
**Tools & Equipment**:
- Hedge shears, pruning saws, string & bush trimmers, power blowers, etc.
- Hand tools such as shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, picks, pruning shears, handheld and hose-end sprayers, soil cultivators, etc.
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:
- Driving a pick up truck and covered trailer an asset but not required
- Reading: WHMIS labels, equipment manuals, complete logs and incident reports, job - Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms, legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling of materials
- Ability to work in diverse weather conditions i.e. wet and/or humid conditions; hot or cold weather
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
