About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Technician to join our team at HML Contracting Ltd. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for managing landscaping projects, surveying and assessing designated sites, and ensuring the health and beauty of our clients' lawns and gardens.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage landscaping projects from start to finish, including planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Survey and assess designated sites to identify areas for improvement and develop effective solutions.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens to ensure optimal growth and health.
  • Apply various treatments, such as pruning, spraying, and repairing damaged areas, to maintain the appearance and integrity of our clients' outdoor spaces.
  • Assess the health of lawns and diagnose problems and diseases in trees and shrubs.
  • Plan and coordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental purposes, and other uses.
  • Plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens, including trees and shrubs.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in landscaping or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing for extended periods and bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to distinguish between colors.
  • Client focus, organized, reliability, and team player.
