**Summary**:
We are currently recruiting for a **Technical Sales Specialist**, for the Machinery Performance team, in Edmonton or Grande Prairie. Reporting to the Manager, Machinery Performance, your primary role will be to drive Customer preference for Engine & Compression products

To be successful in this role, you will work with Account Managers, Territory Managers and Application Specialists to support the account planning process, develop trusting Customer relationships, and help grow the business through increase Customer loyalty. You will focus heavily on understanding the Customers’ processes and delivering solutions to our Customers’ problems.

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Drive business growth and deliver booking goals for E&C Solutions with a focus on our Engine & Compressor solutions in a Team Selling Environment.
- Work with customers, appropriate E&C Solutions’ principals, and others to ensure understanding of the market, competition, opportunities, and sales/support strategies.
- Maintain and develop new relationships with key customers and industry contacts
- Work with E&C Solutions’ customers to understand their needs and preferences for our relevant products and services
- In conjunction with our sales and service teams, formulate, communicate, and implement plans to successfully deliver on identified business opportunities
- Ensure customer satisfaction and continued preference by engaging throughout E&C Solutions’ products and services delivery
- Prepare timely forecasts/reports on sales activities
- Provide necessary technical and sales support to the account and territory sales team

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Engineering Degree preferred or a Technical trade with applicable field experience
- Minimum 3-5 year Sales experience required
- Industry knowledge and customer relationships within the oil and gas market are an asset
- Proven customer service skills
- Solid negotiation, deal making, selling, and presentation skills
- Effective interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Highly motivated, innovative, and a self-starter
- Team player with ability to work independently
- Entrepreneurial work ethic
- Valid driver’s license, as travel is required
