**Role Responsibilities**:
The Government of Alberta’s Ministry of Transportation and Economic Corridor’s is looking for a motivated individual to join the Traffic Safety Services division in Edmonton as the Reviewing Officer. If you are looking for a challenging yet exciting opportunity, look no further and apply

**Responsibilities**:
Some of the other responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

- Evaluating the medical and physical fitness of high-risk drivers to determine their ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
- Implementing decisions of the Registrar and managing client’s driving privileges.
- Soliciting advice from the Medical Review Committee (MRC), medical professionals, and driver assessment agencies on matters which pertain to contentious drivers.
- Acting on behalf of the Registrar at quasi-judicial boards and Provincial Court.
- Developing continual program enhancements to improve the decision-making process in ascertaining the mental and cognitive fitness of high-risk drivers.
- Providing IT project development support of branch database systems as required.

**Qualifications**:
**Required**:

- Two-year diploma in a related field.
- 5 years of progressively responsible related experience in a similar position such as Registry Agent.
- Extensive experience with relevant computer software and systems, such as Microsoft Office, ROADS/MOVES, CMT, and ARTS.
