**Position Details**- Reporting to the Associate Dean of GSR, the Program Specialist will:
- Manage the establishment of counselling practicum placements.
- Provide academic advising and program planning assistance for prospective and current students in all graduate programs offered within the Faculty of Education.
- Participate in recruitment activities and program orientations which may; on occasion, require travel (e.g., teachers’ conventions) or fall outside regularly scheduled hours.
- Support students in navigating through the University experience towards graduation.
- Possess a comprehensive body of knowledge about individual courses, the structure and requirements of majors and degree programs, and requirements for professional programs.
- Has knowledge of the University regulations, policies, and academic and non-academic support services.

**Position Qualifications**- The following special qualifications are also required:
- Exceptional communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Superior technical ability (Microsoft Office Suite, Banner, CRM tools, database implementation and management, workflow, etc) and motivation to proactively seek efficiencies in processes and technologies.
- Ability to deal with complex information.**Starting Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)**
- $4,643.00 - $5,258.00 monthly

**Full Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)**
- $4,643.00 - $5,872.00 monthly (AUPE - Grade 11)
