- 35**About the Position**
- Reporting to the Manager of Recruitment, Admissions and Articulation, the International Admission Specialist is a key member of the Admissions Team. The primary purpose of this position is to assist with the admission of international students to programs. The incumbent must be knowledgeable and able to deal with inquiries concerning programs offered at LC, including all admission requirements and international qualifications. Incumbent must be familiar with IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) regulations. This position will provide front line contact with applicants and respond to inquiries regarding College programs and services, both written and verbal. The incumbent will provide information on programs, admissions and transfer credit and direct all other inquires to appropriate personnel.**Position Details**
- The individual must monitor admission targets and accept qualified applicants accordingly to ensure maximum capacity.
- Respond to general inquiries about college programs and services from the public, prospective students and agents.
- Review applicants with previous post-secondary education for transfer credit consideration by working closely with the Articulation Specialist to determine equivalencies.
- Work closely with other internal departments to resolve student issues or to review business processes.
- Provide support as assigned for admissions and front line coverage.

**Required Qualifications**
- University Undergraduate degree in Business Administration or related field and 2 years previous related job experience; combination of education and experience may be considered
- Extraordinary customer service skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to deal with the different types of inquiries necessary in day-to-day interactions with clients, students, staff and faculty
- Ability to multitask and manage a variety of tasks on a daily basis
- Ability to work with constant interruptions in a fast-paced environment
- Prior work experience in a post-secondary institution would be an asset

**Preferred Qualifications**
- International admissions experience

**Salary**
- AUPE Class Level 10 Step 1 $53,277.94 per annum**Working Here**
