**Who are we looking for?**

Account Executives within our Products & Platforms division will sell specific product and services to municipal governments and public sector organizations within North America. The Account Executives build interest in our software and services through a variety of prospecting activities, including cold calling, introductory meetings, educational and consultative sessions, interactive demonstrations, and formal RFP processes.

Bids & tenders is an eProcurement solution designed to move paper-based procurement processes into a Digital era by connecting buyers and sellers on a transparent market place. This SaaS solution is well-established in Ontario and has expanded into Western Canada and now focusing on the US.

Account Executives will operate as trusted advisors that guide customers through their buying journey, ensuring that buyers are well-versed in and fully comfortable with our software, services, implementation process and project development requirements. In leading and winning business, Account Executives prepare quotes and agreements, describe the onboarding process with the customers and work hand-in-hand with internal staff and prospective clients through formalized procurement processes This hybrid role is located within our Ontario, Canada locations (Waterloo or GTA).

**Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in**:

- Sell bids&tenders eProcurement SaaS solution to public sector clients within the assigned territory.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets established.
- Achieve lead generation, prospecting, and other sales management goals crafted to build an efficient sales pipeline.
- Develop strong, long-term relationships and referrals by being a “trusted advisor” among public sector within the assigned territory.
- Work in close collaboration with Product Management, Marketing and Implementations teams to ensure that solutions are inline with business goals while also fully meeting customers’ business and technology needs.

**What you will bring to the team (what they possess)**:

- At least 2 years of direct sales experience in enterprise software, SaaS or IT services, ideally in a public sector environment.
- Bachelors Degree
- Strong work-ethic working through sales activities with ability to maintain strong territory management
- Experience with vendor selection processes including RFI and RFP issuance and response management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead often sophisticated negotiations with senior-level business and technology executives.
