This position is based in Port Hope

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the procurement process from start to finish, including identifying needs, sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure that procurement activities align with organizational goals and objectives
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring that they comply with contract terms and conditions
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality and timely delivery of goods and services
- Work closely with legal counsel to ensure that contracts are compliant with legal requirements and company policies
- Manage the contract execution process, including preparing and reviewing contracts, obtaining necessary approvals, and tracking contract status
- Maintain accurate records of procurement and contracting activities, including contract documents and supplier information
- Continuously seek ways to improve procurement processes and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce costs

What we are looking for:

- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience in procurement and contract management
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Familiarity with procurement software and tools
- Understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement and contracts
