Forage & Faire, a family-owned herbal apothecary and café in the heart of Abbotsford, is seeking a passionate and adaptable Customer Service Specialist to join our team. This role is essential to creating a warm, welcoming environment and an exceptional experience for every customer who walks through our doors.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide top-tier customer service by assisting customers with product inquiries, herbal remedy recommendations, and other needs.
- Manage daily retail operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and processing sales transactions.
- Prepare and serve a variety of café beverages, ensuring high-quality service and product presentation (we will be opening the cafe portion of our storefront in the new year, training will be provided).
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of both the apothecary and café areas.
- Offer support to customers seeking to create their own natural remedies using our sustainable and organic products.
- Engage with customers, offering personalized service and building strong relationships within the community.
- Adapt to various tasks and challenges, from managing a busy café shift to helping with retail operations, always with a positive attitude.
- Handle any customer concerns with professionalism and a problem-solving mindset.
- Support events, promotions, and workshops hosted at Forage & Faire as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or the food and beverage industry.
- A passion for herbal remedies, sustainability, and wellness is considered a huge asset.
- Strong multitasking abilities and flexibility to switch between café and retail duties.
- Positive attitude and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a small, family-run team.
- Availability to work weekends and occasional evenings for events.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 32 per week
