Corporate Commercial Law Clerk - Hybrid

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare corporate legal documents (incorporations, amalgamations, acquisitions, reorganization, amendments).
- Conduct corporate searches.
- Conduct due diligence reviews and rectify any deficiencies.
- Prepare resolutions, notices, agreements, and other ancillary documents.
- Manage asset/share purchase and sale transactions and closings.
- Maintain and update minute books and corporate files.
- Support the team for corporate, wills, and estates matters.
- Prepare ad hoc reports as requested.
- Performing general administrative support including opening files, dockets, preparation of accounts and client billings, processing payments, calendar maintenance and maintaining an active filing system.
- Input and maintain relevant information into PC law and Unity.
- Liaise with clients, accountants, and other law firms.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Required Qualifications**
- Post-Secondary Education (College Diploma/Certificate or University Degree).
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of federal and provincial corporate statutes and regulations would be an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Unity and Leap would be preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong work ethic and positive team approach.
- Highly organized and able to work in fast-paced environment.
