Assistant _Instructors & Party Staff_
The School - Creative Arts is looking for engaging, fun and friendly assistant instructors to support our Parkour and Dance classes as well as work occasional birthday parties. If you love kids and are interested in the performing arts come work with our highly trained and certified staff. We offer flexible schedules, training, and uniforms all within a welcoming and supportive environment.
**Preferred availability**:
Until June: Wednesdays & Fridays after 4:30pm / Occassional Saturday & Sunday approx 2-7pm (times vary)
July/August: Day time Mon-Fri for Camp Programs
**Responsibilities of an Assistant Instructor**:
- Support the Instructor in the studio during class
- Welcome the children to class, helping them stay engaged, help with bathroom breaks and ensure they exit the class and safely go to their parents
- Set up the class by gathering props/equipment needed for class
- Ensure props/equipment are put away after class
**Birthday Party Assistant/Host**:
- Greet party guests
- Lead the group through their chosen activity (full programing/training provided)
- Lead the group through party games
- Ensure the children transition from their activity to the party room
- Help with general hosting in the party room if needed
- Help with party clean up/tear down
You must possess a keen interest in working with children and be positive, organized and self-motivated. A desire to learn new skills and contribute to building a fun, creative and progressive program is necessary.
