**The opportunity**:
The primary purpose of the instructor position is to plan, organize and deliver curricula to students in an instructor-led environment. The instructor will be responsible to teach and facilitate courses to classes of students in the **Business diploma program**.
The instructor will evaluate student performance relating to the curricula using a variety of assessments. The instructor will assist with activities to support student success, including student internship and job placement, industry liaison and administrative functions when required.

The Business Instructor will support the vision, mission, and values of triOS College while contributing to a positive, supportive, and student-focused team environment of respect, integrity, dedication, and readiness, embracing diversity, and fostering inclusion.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Review and follow the instructors course guideline which includes the course learning and vocational outcomes, alignment table, evaluation breakdown, daily summary plan and the daily lesson plan.
- Prepare lecture/lab and class materials as required.
- Keep the students engaged by developing and/or utilizing a variety of instructional strategies, techniques and delivery methods designed to meet the individual learning styles of students.
- Administer assessments using the LMS platform.
- Ensure students are meeting academic guidelines and communicate progress to the International Education Manager according to the college written procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest accounting trends and technologies to enhance the learning experience.

**What you bring to the position**:

- A university degree in a related field (Business, Accounting, Commerce, etc.) is required.
- Five (5) years of related work experience in a business environment is required.
- Knowledge of Business Reports, Marketing Principles, Macroeconomics and Microeconomics is considered an asset.
- Teaching experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of D2L Brightspace or another Learning Management System is considered an asset.
