The Analytics and Information Management team supports the entire Canadian Auto Finance organization with reporting, data consulting, strategy and ad-hoc analyses from product development, sales and loan acquisition to operations and servicing customers.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to learn about and be at the forefront of a highly dynamic and growing business while supporting a multitude of critical initiatives across TDAF Canada.
**Job Description**:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Analytics & Information Management - the Manager Analytics & Insights role includes leading and managing a team who provide support maintaining CRM, analytics discovery, and business insights, developing dashboard to a wide range of audience at all levels, including senior executives, of all functions within TDAF.
- Work with business partners on initiatives and projects. Provide consultation and recommendations by highlighting impacts from a quantitative point of view.
- Pro-actively identify opportunities for the business to maximize shareholder value through provisioning of analytics discovery and business insights.
- Manage, update, and maintain pricing model and profitability reports for consumption of product partners. Liaison with a variety of teams (TBSM, Capital, Risk, Finance) to understand changes to financial variables and its impact to the models output.
- Prepare Management summaries highlighting the outcome of the dealer segmentation refresh and ensuring the appropriate validations are performed, coordinating with dealer ops team on the changes.
- Pro-actively identify opportunities for the business to maximize shareholder value through provisioning of analytics discovery and business insights.
- Act as a SME providing consultation and recommendations on how the team can provide strategic business value to teams across TDAF.
- Accountable for all day-to-day CRM Maintenance and upgrades.
- Provide ad hoc support to Senior Manager in strategic and tactical initiatives as required.
- Monitor and ensure the appropriate policies procedures and accountabilities are documented and followed for internal and external audit purposes.
- Establish and maintain productive working relations with all stakeholders.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship for all employees on the team
**Requirements**:
**Experience & Qualifications**
- Experience working with relational databases. Querying and combining various data sources.
- Strong relationship building skills, ability to collaborate effectively with teams across TDAF and the Bank.
- Experience in SQL, Tableau, Python, Microsoft BI solutions will be an asset.
- Experience building presentations and presenting the findings to upper management.
- Minimum 5 years in an analytical or consulting role.
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamic 365 will be an asset.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering high quality, high impact analytical solutions to business problems.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- Strong people management skills with proven leadership abilities.
- Banking or Automotive Industry experience is strongly preferred.
