**Short Description**:
The District Manager oversees the management of all assigned branches within a specific region to ensure equipment rental services are executed in the most cost-effective manner with the highest quality of standards. Responsible for establishing and maintaining operations, organizations, and processes that support the strategic objectives of customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction, and asset management including profitability. The district manager will also lead sales, operations and fleet management for multiple locations.
**Responsibilities**:
- Profit and loss (P&L) responsibilities for all branches in respective zone
- Employee engagement that results in positive relationship and employee satisfaction
- Build and develop talent of team including performance management, training, delegation, and accountability
- Lead sales to grow customer base and market share
- Establish relationships with customers that leads to high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Fleet management including identifying needs, high levels of utilization, and protection of assets
- Problem solving for both strategic and tactical issues
- Maintain and improve competitive position by analysis of market and knowledge of competitors
- Ensure cost effectiveness of all operations while maintaining high quality standards using process improvement tools

**Professional Experience**:
- Broad rental fleet knowledge including use of equipment
- Knowledge of the construction & Industrial market verticals a necessity
- Business Development and/or Sales experience a plus
- Directly involved in operations and fleet management as well as sales leadership, territory development, subordinate coaching, training, and mentoring
- 5 - 8 years of progressive managerial experience in the industrial tools or similar segment
- Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organizing/time management and problem-solving skills
**Educational Background**:
- BA/BS University degree with a concentration in business management or business administration preferred**Conditions of Employment**:
- 7-10 years’ experience in the Equipment Rental Industry is a must
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
