Bookkeeper

The Company is a distributor of luxury decorative plumbing and hardware. Our focus is to offer curated brands to our network of high-end kitchen and bath showrooms in the US and Canada. We are looking for a full-time bookkeper to join our team to be a part of the growth of this unique and innovative business.
Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Bookkeeper's specific responsibilities include:
- Maintain bookkeeping records (making entries for all receipts, payments, and other financial transactions).
- Filing source documents for all entries recorded.
- Posting journal entries to ledger accounts.
- Preparing trial balances.
- Performing bank reconciliations.
- Communicating with customers and suppliers as needed.
- Helping in the month end process.
- Preparing financial reports for the management team.
- Performing other duties as required.
Qualifications include:
- 2-5 years of accounting background
- Experience with intercompany transactions preferred
- Organization skills
- Attention to details
- Integrity and transparency
- Communication skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Skilled in both Excel and Word
- Time management skills
- A way with numbers
**Location**:
- Hybrid work from home/at office in Ottawa.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Saint-Laurent, QC H4S 2G1
