**Roles**:

- Coordinate tickets, technicians, and maintain communications with clients or internal team, keeping them informed as support requests are received, progressed, and resolved.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose website, hardware, software, and network problems, and implement timely solutions to minimize downtime and disruption.
- Assist clients with website setup, configuration, and maintenance tasks, including content management system (CMS) administration, website backups, and security updates.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Software Engineers, Web Programmers, Systems Administrators) to escalate complex technical issues and coordinate resolution efforts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system updates, software installations, and security patches to keep client systems up-to-date and secure.
- Document support activities, including troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and client communications, to maintain accurate records and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge in web and IT support.

**Skills / Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably in a web hosting environment or IT service desk.
- Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap, and familiarity with popular content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, etc).
- Experience programming in.NET/C# MVC and.NET Core.
- Solid knowledge of SQL Server and T-SQL.
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
- Experience with Visual Studio and collaborative development tools.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, with a solid understanding of TCP/IP networking, DNS, and web server configurations.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) are an asset.
- Broad range of computer hardware knowledge, including desktops, laptops, servers, printers, iMac, MacBook, smartphones, and other peripherals.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, research, and documentation skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize workload and execute tasks.
- Highly adaptable and self-motivated to learn new technologies.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building rapport, listening, and effective questioning.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users effectively.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision, as well as collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Valid G Ontario driver’s license.
