Blackbird Baking Co. is looking for an experienced cook for our savoury department. This is a full time, permanent position with shifts starting at 6:00AM and since our bakery operates everyday, weekend availability is a must.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Prepping for a daily lunch service
- Assembling sandwiches, dips and spreads
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the station and bakery
- Ordering and receiving products/ingredients
- Occasionally helping the bread department with bread production

**Qualifications and Skills**
- One year of previous culinary experience
- Weekend and Holiday availability
- Ability to lift up to 20kg
- Interest in learning about artisanal bread baking
- A person who is a self motivator and possesses excellent time management skills

**Salary**: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Tips

COVID-19 considerations:
Sanitizing frequency has increased, shifts are coordinated to have as few staff members in the bakery when possible to ensure physical distancing.
