**Position Summary**

**Job Duties**
- General and specialized cleaning duties in all casino areas including gaming floor, kitchens, and other back of house areas
- Responsible for heavy lifting including maneuvering heavy cleaning equipment
- Works with cleaning chemicals and operates various cleaning equipment
- Provides an exceptional experience for casino internal and external guests as this position is a high guest contact position
- Responsible for washroom cleaning in public and back of house areas.
- Finds ways to **play**; you are serious about work, without being serious
- **Chooses** to make everyday a great day
- Stays focused in order to **be there**:

- Delivers an exceptional entertainment experience to internal and external guests to ensure you **make their day**:

- Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, ownership, employees, vendors and regulators
- Ensures compliance with applicable licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned or directed

**Minimum Qualifications**
- **Embraces the Casino Nova Scotia culture and philosophy and has a playful, infectious and "all about the guest" attitude**:

- Must have the ability to be certified by Service Nova Scotia, Alcohol & Gaming Division
- Must be able to use industrial machinery such as burnishers, buffers and carpet extractors.
- Must be able to work backshift
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and procedures an asset
- WHMIS knowledge an asset
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs
- Must have good communication skills
- Must be a team player
- Must be able to prioritize and have strong time management skills
- Must have excellent guest service skills
