We’re looking for a
** Field Coordinator**. This position supports the Western Canadian Division (to the Ontario border), and is considered a
** fully remote **role - working both from home office and the field.
**The Opportunity**:
- In this role you'll:_
- Serves as the lead in the communication, coordination, set up, and support of all internal departments (office, yard) related to all auction processes and the MARS/RBIO systems.
- Manage the information collection and verification processes (appraisals, year verification, sequencing, pricing) related to the MARS/RBIO systems.
- Responsible for assessing equipment and composing photos for the MARS/RBIO program, Identifying and recording all equipment components, accessories, and asset details.
- Responsible for the preparation of advertising material for upcoming off-site sales (brochure and catalog) in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Work in conjunction with Sr. Manager, Yard, and Equipment, to assess equipment and compose photos/information for the RBIO program.
- Drive and operate light and heavy equipment for auction staging and remote off-site sale set up.
- Responsible for resolving equipment contracts and RBIO-related issues, including any unresolved issues that occur pre-and post-sale.
- Assist the Customer Service Managers with pre
- and post-sale duties, customer service, and administrative support as required.
- Promote a culture where the health and safety of our employees and customers is a top priority for all.
- Manage all appraisals and listings in the field
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Sr. Manager of Yard and Equipment.
**Here’s what you bring**:
- You have at least three years’ experience in equipment management and/or inventory control management, preferably in the auction or heavy equipment business.
- High School graduate with post-secondary education is an asset.
- Intermediate proficiency in using current MS Office (Word, Excel)
- Proficiency in using technology such as cell phones, iPad, and computers.
- Strong written, spoken, listening, and interpersonal communication skills in English.
- Fluency in English (oral and written) is a must. The ability to speak additional languages is an asset.
- Experience in the loader, skid steer, and forklift would be ideal but not required. Operator certificates are an asset.
- Proven ability to effectively interface with Sales and Operations Teams as well as customers. You must have a strong customer service orientation. Customer Service is driven.
- This job will require you to:_
- Have a valid, clean driver's license
- Climb on and off large equipment and trucks
- Work both indoors and outdoors year around
- Work regular overtime, including weekend hours. You can expect to work extra hours in the peak auction cycle.
- Travel to other remote locations and auction yards if necessary.
