**Production Manager**

**Location: Dorval**

**Salary: 85000$-110000$ according to experience**

MaxSys Personnel is seeking an experienced **Bilingual Production Manager** to oversee and coordinate manufacturing operations for our client situated in Dorval. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient and seamless functioning of all production lines while maintaining high-quality output.

A strong understanding of production processes is essential. Your ability to lead and motivate personnel towards achieving peak performance will distinguish you as a leader. **Required Skills**:

- ERP/MRP experience, Strategic Planning, Strategy Implementation, Production Planning, Production Management, Negotiation, Leadership. A must have is a lean supply chain basics (LT / EOQ / ABC, FMR classification) + strong MRP knowledge.

**Basic Job Functions**:
The role of the Production Manager is to participate, as a member of the division’s Leadership Team, in executing our Strategic Initiatives while leading the division’s manufacturing efforts.
- Leadership of Operations with direct oversight of the production department. Provide long-term strategic planning while delivering near-term results.
- Drive manufacturing teams to achieve established targets for daily going rate and on-time shipments as well as development and continuous improvement of key metrics
- Define production objectives to meeting business plans, capacity & headcount target, and key performance indicators
- Ensure optimal use of resources and adherence to best safety practices
- Conduct analysis and prepare reports on projects and process improvements as well as make countermeasures for timely completion of project goals
- Build a strong, motivated team capable of consistently delivering high-quality products against aggressive production targets
- Support issue resolution including root cause investigation & an environment of continuous learning and improvement
- Ensure consistency in standards and documentation. Monitor for compliance as well as support and manage continuous improvement activities in safety, quality, cost, efficiency, and productivity objectives

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Engineering Degree, experience, 5+ year experience managing teams of people in a high-volume manufacturing setting, or equivalent

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- In depth understanding of ERP/MRP systems.
- Working knowledge of all aspects and departments of a manufacturing facility.
- Must be adept at embracing and driving improvement and change.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies to optimize efficiency and throughput
- Ability to work well under pressure, manage competing demands and meet tight deadlines.
- In depth understanding of mechanical and standardized processes
- Ability to command the French English languages, both written and verbal
- Strong organization skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Fluent with common MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

**Compensation Data**

Annual compensation starts from $85K and includes eligibility for annual region working capital bonus along with our annual profit-sharing bonus.
