Goods Master Roadways is looking for our next Account Manager/ Freight Broker

The Freight Broker role is a traditional employer/employee role - one where you are self-employed by GMR with support from our Freight Management Team backing you as you grow your own freight business.

This type of role is most suited to experienced (2+ years of North American experience) Logistics Professionals who want more control of their future and income. Your great sales qualities, skills and connections, garnered over the years of working in the industry, in conjunction with the support that Goods Master Roadways offers - means there is no limit to the amount of money that you can earn.

Your duties
- Identify new prospective customers utilizing your industry contacts and lead generating tools that you provide
- Work with the GMR operations team to provide solutions to your customers
- Negotiate rates with customers
- Work with Account Managers and the Customer On boarding Team
- Maintain an ongoing relationship with the customer
- Identify new prospective customers utilizing your industry contacts and lead generating tools that you provide
- Source partner carriers to provide solutions to your customers’ freight needs and following the proper process for carrier set up
- Negotiate rates with carriers and customers
- Enter loads into our Avaal tracking and tracing the loads and providing carrier paperwork for invoicing
- Maintain an ongoing relationship with the customer

What does GMR do?
- Provide solutions to our customers’ freight needs by sourcing assets and partner providers
- All operational functions including dedicated, incented Account Managers for your customers
- Extend credit to, invoice and collect from your customers
- Provide all insurance and liability requirements
- Provide access to Load boards such as Load link, Internet Truck Stop, and DAT
- Extend credit to, invoice and collect from your customers
- Manage Inter modal pricing
- Provide all insurance and liability requirements
