**Crisis Housing Worker - **Short Stay Crisis Program (Full-time Permanent)**:
**The Role and Opportunity**:
The Canadian Mental Health Association is looking for a Crisis Housing Worker (formerly Residential Support Worker) for the Short Stay Crisis Program. The Short Stay Crisis Program provides 24-hour on-site residential support and short-term case management services to individuals living with mental illness who have been involved with the criminal justice system.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Program Manager, the Crisis Housing Worker (CHW) works closely with the team in supporting clients and provide crisis intervention. The CHW will work out of the Danforth Site and be required to work Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm.

The CHW will be required to provide on-site direct service provision and support clients based on their goals. They will orient clients to the programs and services and provide crisis prevention & interventions as needed. The purpose of the CHW will be to perform residential duties and maintain a safe, clean and secure environment. The CHW will also be required to maintain trusting, respectful and collaborative working relationships with clients and colleagues; service providers and other community supports.

**Salary Range: $54,124 - $62,733**
