**Job Summary**:
Provides customer service at the Community Centre desk. Process services and sales and provides administrative support to members of the facility team.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Provides up to date information on Community Centre and City wide services and programs both over the phone and in person at the Community Centre desk, in a professional and friendly manner to all customers.
- Contacts customers to inform of cancelled programs or classes.
- Registers customers into Recreation programs using the Recreation Registration Management System.
- Processes transfer and withdrawal requests for Recreation programs/memberships.
- Sells Recreation memberships to customers for swimming, skating, fitness and therapy.
- Collection of customer participation stats into Aquatic and Fitness programs.
- Sells customers pay-as-you-go admissions to public swim and skates, preschool, sports and fitness and therapy drop-in programs.
- Ensures maximums/capacity of programs is maintained through sales of tickets.
- Follow and adhere to all Divisional Cash Handling policies/procedures, including building-site specific procedures and inventory control.
- Responsible for the preparation of the end of shift/day Daily Sales Reports.
- Prepares floats and cash for deposits.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Secondary School Graduation Diploma or equivalent.
- Primarily community centre environment.
- Computer experience in Word, Excel and ActiveNET software, along with experiences in cash handling and balancing are deemed an asset.
- The ability to work flexible hours including daytime (as early as 6 am), evenings and weekend is required.
- Current Emergency First Aid / CPR "B" required within 6 months of start date.

Hourly Rate/Salary: $19.22 - $22.84
Hours of Work: up to 20 hours
Work Location: Malton CC
