Samples Supervisor

**MAJOR TASKS AND DUTIES**:

- Responsible for organizing sample requests, processing the required paperwork and preparing samples for delivery to customers within requested timelines
- Develop and maintain the sample inventory
- Determine and process stock orders based on frequency of individual sample requests
- Track turnaround time for samples with a goal of improving the average response time
- Prepare monthly sample metrics report for distribution to key stakeholders
- Contact suppliers to request non-stock samples for delivery to Mississauga and Chicago sample rooms
- Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers by ensuring their request processes are followed
- Provide technical documentation with samples as required
- Follow up on outstanding requests including updates to the individual who placed the request
- Courier samples as required, including to USA
- Maintain, organized, clutter free and neat work area
- Complete all other duties as assigned

**KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**:

- College level diploma or university degree
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must have strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Must have strong oral/written communication and good interpersonal skills
- Must have strong computer knowledge and skills (MS Office)
- No known food allergies
