Accessible Media Inc. (AMI)’s mission is to entertain, inform and empower Canadians who are blind or partially sighted. Operating three broadcast services, AMI-télé in French, AMI-tv and AMI-audio in English, AMI’s vision is to establish and support a voice for Canadians with disabilities, representing their interests, concerns and values through accessible media, and positive reflection and portrayal.

Under the supervision of AMI-télé’s Vice President, the Production Coordinator will contribute to the organizational goals of AMI-télé and of the production team. This role will act as a point of reference person for AMI-télé’s Management team and external partners for all aspects of content production and communication.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Production**:

- Ensure that participants of production meetings are provided with necessary materials including line-ups and field reports to screen.
- Track completed field reports and forward them to service production company for post-production.
- Prepare and write UDA contracts in respect of AMI-télé’s collective agreement with UDA. Follow through with Finance department and UDA for payment and tracking.
- Code and track invoices and accrued charges in the financial system,
- Liaise with production companies to ensure material is delivered on time, and in the right formats according to technical specifications and ensure that circulation of finished content is efficient and seamless.

**Programming**:
**Marketing & Communications**:

- Provide support to the Manager, Marketing and Communications related to mix-media ads by writing and sending the content for publication
- Prepare UDA contracts for promo production (on-air talent or voice) and track for payment
- Provide occasional support for special events
- Liaise with external Media Relations hired expert to ensure he or she has all needed materials.

**General Duties**:

- Support VP in general clerical duties.
- Contributes to the team effort as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience working in a live television broadcast environment and knowledge of production and post-production an asset
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work on several projects simultaneously
- Strong research and planning skills
- Team Player with strong interpersonal skills
- Bilingualism
