**Primary Responsibilities**
- Work closely with management and the recruitment team to understand business objectives, corresponding staffing needs and to execute recruitment strategies
- Create, update, and implement new policies as per the standards set by Ministry
- Provide assistance with the onboarding and orienting of new employees
- Answer of internal and external inquiries on HR related matters
- Participation in Joint Health and Safety Committee meetings and accident/incident investigations
- Implement HR procedures and make suggestions to improve controls where necessary.
- Plan and provide training in consultation with heads of different functional & operational areas
- Prepare or updating employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating
- Explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, and standards to new and existing employees
- Address any employment relations issues, such as work complaints and harassment allegations
- Processing all personnel action forms and ensuring proper approval
- Train new employees/existing employees on new laws/amendments
- Design and produce learning content with a focus and interactive training, as well as materials for blended programs including facilitator guides, job aides, checklists, etc.
- Continuously improve existing training through redesign efforts and integration of new content and/or technology
- Effectively manages and prioritizes multiple projects with varying timelines
- Measures and evaluates solutions to ensure relevance and continuous improvement
- Assume other duties as designated by the HR Manager.
**Qualifications**:
- Capable of discretion and confidentially while ensuring high degree of integrity and professionalism
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills, including the ability to influence and communicate policies and ideas to a varied group and individuals both verbally and in writing
- Demonstrated project coordination skills
- 4+ years’ experience in human resources or equivalent
- Proficient in ADP software
- Demonstrated knowledge in organizational development, employee relations, performance management, policy and procedure development and administration, classification/compensation, benefits, and legal compliance
- Demonstrated knowledge of regulations governing human resources functions and federal state legislation
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
