The Enterprise Systems team oversees the university's enterprise resource planning systems. It's an Agile team of PeopleSoft experts, who is leading the charge in enhancing the SFU experience with modern IT solutions within Oracle Peoplesoft Enterprise Systems, including Campus Solutions, Human Capital Management, and Finance and Supply Chain Management systems available to SFU students, faculty, and staff.
**About the Role**
The Manager, Enterprise Systems will be responsible for the day-to-day activities to manage, guide, and support a team of technical professionals dedicated to the design, delivery, continuous improvement, maintenance, and operations of the University Student Information System. The Manager works in partnership with members of the university community and translates strategic goals into actionable projects and resource work plans. The role performs development and architecture reviews as required, oversees the creation and maintenance of technical and functional documentation, and provides input in strategic planning.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a people leadership role, leading Functional and technical team(s) at a large organization.
- Demonstrated experience operating successfully in a matrixed work environment.
- Significant experience partnering with business leaders, and IT stakeholders.
- Significant experience of delivering using Agile mode of operations, establish and drive operational excellence to enable continual evolution necessary for successfull delivering the value to the business.
- Exercises strong workforce management skills, to enroll business and IT stakeholders efficiently across all levels.
- Be Self-Aware & Emotionally Intelligent, by recognizing own strengths, weaknesses, biases and blind spots.
