The Rec Room - West Edmonton Mall (Cineplex Entertainment, headquartered in Toronto, Ontario) is currently recruiting for the position of Office Teller, reporting to the Assistant General Manager. This position will be based at 2065, 8882 - 170th St., NW, Edmonton, AB.

Your role is to provide administrative and cash handling support to the management team and the operations of the Rec Room team as a whole. This role will allow you to observe and contribute to the full cycle of venue operations in an administrative capacity.

Job Duties:

- Supports the venue with cash administration responsibilities;
- Conducts regular cash audits on various tills throughout the venue;
- Reconciles cashier, bartender, and server cashouts with the cash handling program;
- Reports and investigates any cash handling variances, and reports findings to the management team;
- Balancing the safe;
- Opening and closing the cash office as needed;
- Any additional relevant responsibilities the venue requires, as needed;

Qualifications:

- In addition to 2-3 years’ experience in a professional or commercial environment in an administrative role, you will possess:

- Commitment to a team approach.
- High attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Has a general sense of urgency and initiative.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to foster strong client relationships.
- Highly organized.
- Strong Microsoft office skills required.

Working Conditions:

- Extended hours as required.
- Extended time sitting while using a computer.

Votre rôle est de fournir un soutien administratif et de gestion de la trésorerie à l'équipe de direction et aux opérations de l'équipe Rec Room dans son ensemble. Ce rôle vous permettra d'observer et de contribuer au cycle complet des opérations des sites à titre administratif.

Principales responsabilités:
- Soutenir le site avec les responsabilités d'administration de la trésorerie;- Effectuer des audits réguliers de trésorerie sur diverses caisses du site ;- Réconcilie les retraits des caissiers, des barmans et des serveurs avec le programme de gestion des espèces;- Signaler et enquêter sur tout écart lié à la gestion de la trésorerie et rapporter les conclusions à l'équipe de direction ;- Équilibrer le coffre-fort ;- Ouverture et fermeture de la caisse selon les besoins ;- Toute responsabilité pertinente supplémentaire requise par le lieu, selon les besoins ;

Qualifications:

- faire preuve d’un engagement à une approche d’équipe;
- avoir un grand souci du détail et posséder d’excellentes compétences en gestion du temps;
- être capable de travailler sous pression et de respecter des délais serrés;
- avoir un sentiment général d’urgence et l’esprit d’initiative;
- posséder d’excellentes compétences communicationnelles, tant à l’écrit qu’à l’oral;
- être capable d’établir des relations solides avec nos clients;
- être très organisé;
- posséder de solides compétences avec les logiciels de la suite Microsoft Office.

Les conditions de travail:

- travailler des heures supplémentaires au besoin;
- rester assis pendant des heures prolongées pour utiliser un ordinateur.
