FSYR is the lead agency of the South Central Richmond Hill Community Action Table (SCRHCAT), funded by the Regional Municipality of York. We are hiring a **Community Engagement Administrator **to support the work of the SCRHCAT. The SCRHCAT’s aim is to build community capacity to facilitate community change under the umbrella of the Community Safety and Well-Being Plan. This role has two main functions:

- High Level Administrative Functions,** **including but not limited to:

- Attending, supporting, and reporting on SCRHCAT initiatives and programs
- Supporting the development and implementation of communication strategies, social media including marketing materials i.e flyer design
- Work collaboratively to identify, develop and deliver relevant workshops and skills building as identified by the CAT convening table
- Deliver presentations to the table and provide updates to committees
- Assist with events, including arranging necessary supplies and materials
- Leadership of the Quick Action Grant (QAG) process:

- Coordinate, support and provide oversight for the Quick Action Grant Funding

**Qualifications**:

- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, engagement and presentation skills with experience in working at the grass roots level, ideally with experience and knowledge of the York Region and Richmond Hill landscape
- Exceptional organizational and administrative support skills
- Capacity to work independently, take initiative and work well as part of a team effort
- Education and/or experience in community development or related field
- Ability to work remotely from home with internet capacity and in the office, as required
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Strong computer skills and familiarity using online platforms to engage remotely with key stakeholders (such as Office365, Zoom, etc.)
- An energetic and welcoming personality with ability to be versatile, flexible and a team player
- Access to a car is required
- A satisfactory current Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Fluency in second language is an asset
