Manulife has a Bold Ambition to become the undisputed leader in individual insurance in Canada - across life, health & dental, travel insurance and living benefit portfolios.

**Job Summary**:
This role will be responsible for the development and deployment of various Individual Insurance programs as well as supporting strategic initiatives and records management. Most of the programs with be customer, advisor and distribution firm promotions/incentives and most will have little to no Value Stream/Delivery or Technology build. The programs are an important driver of sales as well as improving our sales analytics, and end to end process efficiency.

This role will report to the AVP of Product Strategy and Support. Continuous and effective collaboration with the sales, product, business insights and analytics, strategy and marketing teams is central to success as a key liaison between product leads, field partners and advisors.

**Essential Responsibilities**
- Initiate, plan, manage development and monitor business improvement programs.
- Develop reporting and executive dashboards for programs with revenue and/or cost components.
- Liaise with finance to develop continuous process improvement methodology for sales reporting
- Support AVP in gaining internal and external commitment of resources required to deliver the agreed initiatives.
- Lead project planning and implementation within quality, reliability, schedule and cost standards.
- Monitor performance and recommend program change, customer and/or advisor segmentation and adjustment of resources.
- Provide effective and regular communication within the program team, project implementation group, stakeholders, sponsors, and leadership.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of product, distribution, fintech, market development and customer and advisor experience strategies.
- Ensure that systems, procedures, and controls are in place to reduce business risks and produce operational efficiencies.

- Superior organizational, time and project management skills. Ability to use judgment in evaluating and prioritizing competing business issues and differences in perspective and requirements.
- Excellent communications capabilities - able to articulate objectives of program or value of a strategic initiative, write and present recommendations to leaders and summarize results, the driving factors for such as well as key learnings and implications going forward.
- Highly developed relationship, and networking skills. Able to quickly identify key stakeholders needed for successful delivery of programs.
- Strong leadership skills with ability to influence peers to action without direct reporting authority.
- Demonstrated successful strategic thinking and an ability to identify opportunities, key success factors and risk.
- Detail orientation.
- Strong knowledge & expertise of the individual insurance business and interconnectedness of teams and their function.
- Excellent issue management and problem-solving capabilities while being a champion for creative solutioning

**Job Requirements**
- University degree. Business-oriented education would be an asset.
- 10+ years of progressive program development, project planning and management with demonstration of reporting and analytical competence.
- Experience in individual insurance, product, sales or marketing are assets.
- Fluent in Word, PowerPoint Excel and PowerBI.

The annual base salary for this role in the primary location of Waterloo, Ontario is expected to be between $77,250.00 CAD - $139,050.00 CAD.
