As a server with Port Carling Golf Club, you will be an ambassador for the exceptional service and cuisine that are hallmarks of the only true private club in Muskoka. Your warm, personal attention and knowledge of our outstanding F&B offerings makes members and their guests feel unique and valued.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Assist members and their guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Check on member satisfaction
- Handle feedback from out members
- Provide food and beverage product knowledge
- Use proper serving techniques
- Practice responsible alcohol service

**Qualifications**
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- Ontario Smart Serve certification required
- Food handling certification an asset but not required
- First Aid/CPR certification an asset but not required
- A secondary school diploma is preferred
- Previous food and beverage experience in a fine dining establishment
- Excellent communication skills required
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Excellent customer service skills
- Time management skills
- Previous point of sale system experience an asset
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation process when handling food & beverage
- Working conditions Flexible, must be willing to work a variety of hours, including days, nights as well as weekends and holidays based on the business needs

**Physical requirements**
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift for up to 8 hours
- Able to lift and carry objects, up to 20 lbs
- Kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 30-40 per week

**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour
