As an Advisor insurance business development, you will act as principal rescource to the investment advisors. You will review and assess the investment advisor’ insurance requests to ensure appropriate types and levels of coverage, including making recommendations and follow throughs.

Your role:

- Provide assistance and advice with respect to insurance products coverage, strategies and general insurance questions.
- Manage insurance middle and back office requests such as agent-of-record changes, book of business transfers and the renewal process.
- Ensure compliant insurance requirements are being met and support with prospects presentation, new business, service and claims.
- Work with Equisoft Connect and Centralize administrative systems for all files under management.
- Insure continued conversation with insurance carriers
- Collaborate with the team in achieving the insurance related goals.

As a member of the NBF Financial Services operation team ensure that our partners provide service that consistently meets all quality, compliance and risk management requirements. In this position, you will work with National Bank Financial dual license investment advisors. You’ll start with a training program that will give you a chance to learn about your position and get to know your teammates. The training program focuses on hands-on learning to help you become familiar with your role and the sector you’ll work with.

Required competencies:

- Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience or master's degree and one years of relevant experience
- Very good knowledge of the individual insurance field
- Good knowledge of Equisoft
- Insurance Agent license
- Experience in customer service/advice
- Ability to adapt to change
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred competencies:

- Comprehensive knowledge of insurance principles and practices.
- Skills to build good interpersonal relationships
- Demonstrate excellent customer service
