**About this Opportunity**
**Job functions will involve**:
- Safety, Health, and Environment must be a priority
- Support and initiate safe work practices, following all Paramount policies and procedures
- Strong supervision, coaching, and mentoring skills required
- Effective decision making and troubleshooting skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Complete monthly assurance activities
- Monitor daily production including volume balances, verify the accuracy of operational records, log sheets, work permits, reports, and deliver field production updates to Leadership
- Perform regulatory compliance checks; maintain compliance with Paramount, AER and other regulatory agencies
- Assist Production Foreman to maintain operations, reliability, reporting, and act as delegate
- Good understanding of upstream oil and gas wells, facilities, and equipment
- Closely monitor costs and production to ensure objectives are achieved or forecasts exceeded
- Ensure operations are carried out in a safe cost-effective manner
- Contribute to the team achievement of meeting business, environmental, health and safety targets
**Required Skills & Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- GPO/PFO level A-D certification required
- Power Engineering 4th class would be an asset
- Minimum 8 years of operating experience
- Self-starter with positive attitude and able to work independently with mínimal supervision, time management and organizational effectiveness are critical to this position. Flexible and adaptable to changing work environments
- Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal skills, positive attitude and ability to foster teamwork
- Proven problem solving, decision-making skills with experience in safety, management systems, regulations, and standards
- Good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs, Maximo, XSPOC, Scada Vantage
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Must take part in on-call rotation
- Participate in ERP training
- Must be willing to work overtime when required
- Will be required to work a 8/6 shift working 10 hour days
