As the Product Owner for the Underwriting Transformation Program, you will work within an agile team and play a key role to optimize the end-to-end underwriting process leveraging data and analytics. You will act as a proxy for the underwriting transformation program leadership team and work closely with a variety of stakeholders to ensure the team is clear on the solutions required to achieve program objectives.

**How you will create impact**:

- Participating in the development of project roadmaps and delivering solutions that will maximize value.
- Serving as the primary source of information for the team, offering clear definitions of the targeted capability, the intended value for the customer, and functional and non-functional requirements.
- Utilizing stakeholder relationships and maintaining a good understanding of clients, users and product to prioritize needs against development.
- Creating and managing the backlog and the prioritization of work, while remaining accountable for the outcomes.

**To join our team**:

- You have seven years of experience in Property and Casualty (P&C) Manufacturing.
- You have completed a post-secondary degree in Business, Commerce, Information Technology (IT), Marketing or a related discipline.
- You have a strong understanding and demonstrated experience working in an agile environment and excellent understanding of insurance products and services.
- You have strong data and analytical skills.
- Having strong working knowledge of software development, JIRA and Confluence are an asset.
- Having or working towards the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation, Disciplined Agile, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other professional designation is an asset.
- This position primarily works with majority non-francophone groups, and teams located outside of Québec, and requires proficiency in English. The essential non-French duties are not assignable to adjacent or other team members.
