**The Job**

The Sales & Operations Manager will be responsible for inbound and outbound lead generation for décor, flowers and our event space. The Sales & Operations Manager will also be responsible for sales, analytics, productivity, leadership and other support functions within the team. They will be the primary point of contact for the team and will work closely with our Executive Director to generate sales & revenues and overall growth of the team within the organization. This person has thick skin and can handle the demands of the events industry and is not for the faint of heart. This is a working hands on position with accountability.

**The Expectations**
- Must have a mature, positive attitude and previous management or HR experience
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of Pure Lush Designs and Co core products via successful completion of required sales training, and utilize this knowledge to successfully lead Sales Support operations.
- Create staff schedules in excel and upload into dropbox
- Monitor labour and adjust as required
- Engage in social media activity and create benchmarks for the team to keep consistent on social media platforms
- Pro-active in lead generation and guide team to ensure focus is always on reactive vs proactive
- Post job ads and conduct interviews as required
- Analyze performance metrics data and leverage it to effectively coach and develop the team. Motivate and drive performance of the Team.
- Build on key processes, business initiatives and internal resources in order to assist the team in accomplishing company goals.
- Manage a successful office support team and ensure that the team consistently meets or exceeds daily sales performance metrics & sales targets.
- Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards and ensure staff are following company protocol to maintain professional image
- Serve as the main point of contact for team and clients and address calls for most general business issues; escalate to Executive Director, as appropriate.
- Develop sales & marketing strategic plans to grow business aligning with company goals
- Work closely with the Executive Director following the company's marketing plan and budgets to drive strategy for company growth.
- Proactively monitor networks to identify potential clients and opportunities
- Cold Call clients to book event décor consultation appointments
- Fill in shifts when short staffed, this is a hands on position
- Complete sales forecasts and sales activity reports and presentations in a timely manner
- Oversee all communications between the sales team, operations and management
- Conduct staff reviews and ensure HR files are up to date and organized
- Accountable for booking and increasing Corporate/Wedding/Social Event Décor business, through the development of new business (sales) and active follow up of existing inquiries
- Generate leads by actively monitoring and engaging in ads on Facebook Buy& Sell wedding groups
- Train new hires for optimal performance
- Work with team to create, implement, and track successful digital and social media marketing campaigns that maximize Pure Lush Designs and Co online presence and lead generation opportunities
- You will learn how to set up decor, create fresh flower arrangements and other items under our brand to effectively train new staff
- Cross-training in other departments to cover sick days, vacations as necessary
