Catholic Social Services is currently recruiting for a full-time, 40 hour per week, Human Resources Information Systems Analyst (HRIS), located in Edmonton, Alberta.

**Job Summary**

The HRIS analyst works with the Agency’s Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and other HR systems. The HRIS is a system used to collect and store data on an organization’s employees.

**Job Duties**:
**HRIS role**
- Translate business objectives and user needs into clearly written technical requirements. These business objectives can originate from within the HR organization, including HR Operations, Payroll, HR Service Partners, Learning and Development and HR leadership
- Implement functional requirements into existing HRIS and systems or assist in choosing solutions that help solve these business problems. These improvements are usually process-related improvements or policy changes that help to make the system more efficient and/or optimize the user experience
- Works closely with the Digital Services and Innovation [DSI] team to implement solutions that will be directed by the DSI team. The DSI team will have higher level of access and control on the HR systems than the HRIS Analyst

**Data management and reporting**
- Processes and inputs various employee data into HRIS, when a file upload with employee data is required
- Responsible for HR Dashboard and HR Metrics
- Responsible for monthly and quarterly audits of HR processes and data

**Technical & Process troubleshooting**
- Ensures role, data security, end-user access, and data integrity across all HR platforms
- Works with DSI to maintain and improve the HRIS, including configuration, end-user access, security, and system efficiency
- Supports critical system maintenance and operational tasks within the HRIS

**Education and Experience**:

- Relevant post-secondary education
- A Degree or Diploma in Human Resources is required
- A combination of education and experience will be considered
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in an HRIS Administrator/Analyst role
- Previous work experience in HRIS implementation will be considered an asset
- Previous work experience on Ceridian Dayforce platform will be required
- Additional relevant certifications or designations considered an asset
