Grillo Law is a personal injury law firm with over 35 years of experience, located in North York. We specialize in car accident claims, slip and falls, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, catastrophic determinations, product liability, and short-term and long
- term disability claims.

We are looking for an Accident Benefits Clerk with 3+ years of accident benefits experience to join our growing practice.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Drafting correspondence to be sent to defense counsel, insurance companies, medical institutions and clients.
- Completing OCF forms according to the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS) requirements.
- Communicating with insurance companies ensuring clients receive benefits as entitled under the SABS.
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients, insurance adjusters and healthcare providers.
- Reviewing medical documentation and other file contents.
- Direct communication with various counsel and clients.
- Overall daily file maintenance.

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years of accident benefits experience including working knowledge of the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS) and LAT Process.
- Proven experience working in a fast-paced and high-volume practice (carrying 130+ of your own files with varying difficulty).
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Exceptional critical thinking skills.
- Strong technical skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with Ghost Practices is an asset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A passion for working within personal injury.

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
