Unifor is looking for a Bilingual IT Analyst, Information Technology (Infrastructure and Applications) to join our growing high performing team. In this position, you will play a key role in providing member focused IT Solutions and Services to Leadership and Staff that are aligned with the organizational goals to support and grow the Union.

**Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Administration and providing support for a variety of technologies including Microsoft Server 2016/2019, Exchange, Azure Cloud Infrastructure / M365, Active Directory, Intune, SQL Server, VPNs, Wi-Fi, Avaya IP Office phone systems, Data backup and recovery management.
- Administering and supporting accounting software systems, SAGE, ACCPAC.
- Administering and supporting DNS and web services.
- Assisting in the maintenance of the IT Infrastructure, Aruba network switching including server patching and post patch testing.
- Provide administrator support either by phone, remote access or site visits as needed within the province or country.
- Respond to a variety of IT issues, service requests, hardware maintenance, software, networking, etc.
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues, equipment, and software.
- Maintain IT hardware/software life cycle equipment/asset inventory of the IT Infrastructure.
- Assist with the design, implementation, and ongoing support of new software and features.
- Assist with servers, LAN/WAN technologies, computer repair/troubleshooting software, networks, virus protection, Wi-Fi technology, and more.
- Good project management, organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Support and adhere to IT policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.

**Position requirements**:

- University/college education in a related technical field or a combination of education and experience.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal and written) to effectively engage with clients.
- 10+ years’ experience in supporting a diverse Infrastructure environment.
- 10+ years’ technical experience in supporting Server Infrastructure, Virtualization, and Active Directory services.
- 10+ years experience in supporting LAN / WAN & Wireless Networks.
- Understanding and hands on experience with Cloud computing, virtualization technologies and Office 365.
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting SSL VPN access.
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently under mínimal supervision.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
- Dependable and flexible when necessary, travel as required.
- Up-to-date knowledge of new systems, information, software, and upgrades
- Bilingual in French and English is preferred.

**Salary**: $63,609.00-$90,870.00 per year
